As an international company in the medical products industry, GKE sets high standards in the areas of safety, environmental protection, integrity and employee management and continually reviews and improves them.
The following codex defines the basic requirements of our company to all suppliers, dealers, service providers and its own employees.


Fair and free competition
We recognize the principles of free competition, act accordingly and accept no antitrust agreements with competitors.


No tolerance of corruption
We reject any form of corruption or bribery and do not grant any third parties benefits related to our business decisions.


Transparent management

We book our transactions properly and in accordance with local regulations without pretense, concealment or falsification of business transactions


No discrimination

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination against employees, customers, business partners or
third persons.


Fair wages for employees
We do not employ employees against their express will and pay them above the minimum wage. We treat employees with dignity and respect.


No tolerance of child labor
We strictly keep with the requirements of the International Labor Organization (ILO) regarding the minimum age of employees and never employ children under 15 years. We also make sure that these requirements are complied with by our suppliers and customers.


Compliance with national working time regulations
We observe the maximum weekly working hours of employees, with the exception of extraordinary circumstances. These may not exceed a maximum of 60 hours per week. Legal regulations with a lower weekly working time precede. We grant our employees at least 24 consecutive hours free time per week and paid annual leave according to the statutory provisions of the countries.


Attention to environmental protection
We meet all the conditions of the applicable environmental laws. We optimize the environmental conditions in the production of our goods, use energy resources responsibly and pay attention to sustainability
(see our separate explanations).

Attention to health and safety
We observe all legally prescribed measures for occupational safety and health and train our employees accordingly.

Observance of data protection
We comply with the requirements of the respective national data protection laws and provide the protection of personal data of employees and business partners.

Respecting the intellectual property of third parties
We respect and protect the intellectual property of others. Therefore, we do not pass on any protected information or business and trade secrets to third parties without authorization and keep them secret internally. Furthermore, we do not use any information or business secrets from business partners without their consent.

Selection of suppliers and customers
We also keep with the principles set out in this codex when selecting our employees, suppliers, service providers and customers and also oblige them to comply with them.
